Celtic, classical, Paraguayan… ancient or modern, the world of the harp has been coming together at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival for more than thirty years. The program includes dozens of concerts, workshops and other events around the harp.
Among the artists (harp and non-harp players) announced this year, you will hear: Rick Bamford, Jane Bentley, Cheyenne Brown, Steve Byrne, Sixto Corbalán, Eva Curth, Gillian Fleetwood, Fraya Thomsen, Christine Edwards, Nic Gareiss, Maeve Gilchrist, Rachel Hair, Corrina Hewat, Mandy Hunter, Siân James, Olov Johannson, Alison Kinnaird, Andrew Lawrence-King, Allan MacDonald, Mary Macmaster, Karen Marshalsay, Eddie McGuire, Catriona McKay, Isobel Mieras, Rachel Newton, Christine Primrose, Fiona Rutherford, Patsy Seddon, Wendy Stewart, Bill Taylor, Clotilde Trouillaud, Edward Witsenburg, Heather Yule and many more.
The harpmaker's exhibition will have its doors open throughout the festival with the presence of: Ardival, Telynau Vining, Clive Morley, Killarney, Mark Norris, Pilgrim, Silver Spear, Starfish, Tim Hampson, Telynau Teifi.
Amateur and professional harp players will gather from the 4th to the 9th of April in Edinburgh. The full program is online here.
